Oasis Grille and Wine Lounge

The rehearsal dinner was held in the rose garden at Oasis Grill and Wine Lounge in downtown Pleasanton. It was a gorgeous evening and being outside meant we got to soak up the California weather. Plus the food was absolutely delicious.

Once we arrived we were greeted with a fizzy pomegranate drink and appetizers such as house marinated olives, hummus, spinach artichoke dip and cucumber salata with fresh vegetables and flat bread to dip.

Dinner was buffet style and had a variety of different foods. There were 2 types of salad, the Mediterranean salad with feta and cucumbers and the Saharan greens with cranberries, candied walnuts and blue cheese. For hot entrees we had chicken and lamb kabobs with grilled vegetables, pumpkin borani, and Mantoo. Mantoo is ground beef and onion dumplings, topped with garlic yogurt and mixed vegetables in a tomato sauce. This was my first time trying Mantoo and probably wouldn't have been something I would have ordered myself but honestly it was my favorite part of the meal.
