Carlsbad Beach Grill

Today we said goodbye to Marc's sister and nephews and hello to one of my very good friends from Washington DC. Since neither Marc nor I had a chance to go to the grocery store before the arrival of our guests we decided once again to head out for dinner.

Carlsbad Beach Grill is walking distance from our house. It was in the process of being built when we first moved here about a year ago and finally opened when we were away over 4th of July weekend. Since its opening we've been a few times and enjoyed pretty much everything we've had there.

Tonight we decided to try a tapas night and ordered basically all of their appetizers. We had zucchini rounds, fried calamari, grilled fish tacos and the spicy chicken wings. The dipping sauce for the calamari and the chicken wings were too spicy for my tastes but everything else hit the spot.
