Brookies

For Easter Marc decided he wanted to try his hand at "baking". He decided to make brookies based on a recipe found at Bakerella.

I have only one word to describe them. Amazing.

I do warn you though, you end up with a 9x13 pan of chocolately amazingness and if there are only a few of you in the house to eat them, it might not be good for your waist lines. Perhaps a good recipe for when you have friends coming over.

Ingredients
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Brownie Mix
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Cookie Mix
  • ingredients per back of said boxes
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch glass dish. In a medium bowl, make brownie mix per directions on the back of the box; set aside. In a second medium bowl, make cookie dough per directions on the back of the box. Pour brownie batter into the greased baking dish. Drop the cookie dough, by rounded tablespoon, onto the brownie mix. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
