My walk score is 75, what's yours?

To celebrate my 150th post I am going to tell you about the coolest thing I have found on the internet, ever. It's called Walk Score and it basically tells you what is within walking distance from your home; restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, schools, parks, etc. It is so awesome that I have added a Walk Score button to the bottom right corner of my blog, just under the quotes, so you can check it out right now. What are you waiting for? Go!

i dont know about this walk score thing. my address in san diego which is a short bike ride to the most beautiful city park ever (balboa park) gave me 57 points. then my old glendale place which is in the middle of an industrial area gave me 72 points. there needs to be some adjustments...

Palo Alto 98 but I am not sure that it's a good idea swapping sleep time for walk scoring. Dad

I believe that walk score is cool, but nowadays more and more people prefer to drive cars. Homes are often located in an area where some establishments are easier to get to by car than on foot. I've recently found a type of service on Fizber which is called Drive Score. It shows a map of what establishments are in your neighborhood and calculates a Drive Score based on the number of places within a convenient driving distance.
