As I'm in the midst of packing, there isn't much cooking going on in my kitchen save for the concoctions I have been creating in an attempt to use up every last piece of food in my cupboards before June 28th. Regardless, I couldn't let a momentous day, such as the birthday of my blog, pass without commemorating it. So instead of a recipe and pictures of food I present a compilation of photos from around the kitchen.
I created this blog as an easy way to share my favorite recipes with my friends and family, encourage myself to cook more, and as an outlet for my photography hobby. My original goal was to post at least two new recipes a month and, if you look to the right, you'll see I was successful. This year I am aiming not only to improve my food photography skills but also to cook at least three new dishes a month.
