Muchas Fotografías

Here are some pictures from last weekend's trip. The first two are of the pyramids in Teotihuacan.

This is a picture of the church in the zocalo of Mexico city. We first climbed up into the bell tower on the right, then walked across the roof and finally up the bell tower on the left. From the roof there was an amazing view of the city. In the second bell tower we actually got to stand next to the bell as our guide rang it. It was so loud I could feel it in my heart. Definitely the highlight of the weekend trip.

The following two pictures are from our wednesday trip to Cacaxtla. The first picture is la pyramide de la serpiente (pyramid of the snake) and the second is an original mural found in the ruins at Cacaxtla. It amazes me how well the color holds when you use natural pigment from plants, minerals and insects.
